The present research, using a descriptive-analytical method and library-based data collection, aims to explain and compare the views of Muhammad ʿAbd al-Salam Faraj with those of other Islamic thinkers on this subject, with the goal of discovering and elucidating the extent of conformity or contradiction between his views and theirs. Ultimately, it was concluded that ʿAbd al-Salam Faraj's perspective aligns with that of other Islamic thinkers only on the principle of the legislation of offensive jihad and the statement of its conditions and the nature of its obligation (<em>wujūb</em>). However, he errs in applying the conditions, describing the type of obligation, and identifying the target community for offensive jihad in the contemporary era. His evidence does not substantiate his claims, and his opinions on these matters are contrary to the views of most Islamic thinkers, being flawed and lacking scientific and practical value.</span> <span lang="AR-IQ" style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: IRLotus; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-IQ; mso-ansi-font-weight: bold;">امروزه مستمسک علمی و عملی بسیاری از گروه‌های افراطی سلفیه جهادی در باب جهاد ابتدایی که مشکلات فراوانی را برای مسلمانان و غیرمسلمانان پدید آورده است، آرای افرادی چون محمد عبدالسلام فرج است. پژوهش حاضر با روش توصیفی - تحلیلی و گردآوری اطلاعات کتابخانه‌ای، به تبیین و تطبیق آرای محمد عبدالسلام فرج با دیدگاه دیگر اندیشمندان اسلامی در این باب، با هدف کشف و تشریح میزان مطابقت یا تضاد دیدگاه وی با ایشان می‌پردازد. درنهایت این نتیجه به دست آمد که نگاه عبدالسلام فرج تنها در اصل تشریع جهاد ابتدایی و بیان شرایط و کیفیت وجوب با دیدگاه سایر اندیشمندان اسلامی همسویی دارد؛ اما او در تطبیق شرایط و بیان نوع وجوب و نیز تعیین مصداق جامعه هدف جهاد ابتدایی در عصر حاضر با لغزش مواجه است، ادلۀ او مثبت ادعاهایش نیست و آرای وی در این موارد خلاف دیدگاه بیشتر اندیشمندان اسلامی و مخدوش و فاقد ارزش علمی و عملی است.</span> <span lang="AR-IQ" style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: IRLotus; mso-bidi-language: AR-IQ;"> </span> https://mazaheb.urd.ac.ir/article_232780_78a44f948b616051b78a96446673284f.pdf
