After the traditional Persian poetry with all its varieties and the emergence of great poets such as Ferdowsi, Saadi, Rumi and Hafez had reached its peak, but in the following centuries we have witnessed its decline and it is here that Nima Youshij becomes the father of New Persian poetry, a pioneering and innovative poet, and the fine foundation of a great literary transformation and evolution. Tracing religions and spirituality in the poems of Nima'i poets, which is the goal of this research, has had various reflections and the emphasis of this article is on the five greats of Nima'i poetry (Nima, Akhavan, Shamloo, Forough and Sepehri), and in addition to this: Mohammad Reza Shafi'i Kadkani, Manouchehr Atashi and... In tracing the application of religious and mystical themes in modern poetry, although there is little evidence in Nima's poetry - whose poems are symbolic and have naturalistic aspects - this field quickly finds its place in the poems of other great Nima poets, and we see wonderful and beautiful evidence of the companionship and familiarity of Nima poets with various religions.
